Nuno Dinis joined The West Group in 2019 as Technical Business Development Manager

"With a mechanical engineering background and coming from an associated industry, the opportunity to work at The West Group was a good fit.  Becoming a Technical Business Development Manager at a successful and expanding company represents an advancement for me professionally.

I have a lot of experience within manufacturing and assembly so I was delighted to be awarded the position.  Combining my knowledge with the other highly experienced people within the industry has been a positive experience.

My time so far at the company has been very positive and I am enjoying working within the sales team".

The West Group- Andy Hues

Andy is a valued team member, offering excellent support to key customers and colleagues

"I have worked in sales and manufacturing for twenty five years and joined The West Group fifteen years ago.

Being at the company for a number of years now, I have developed my knowledge of the fluid control industry. I have built some strong relationships with both customers and colleagues alike.  During this time, I've seen the company evolve and grow its reputation as one that customers can trust.

I have progressed within the business and now work as an Account Manager within the CSD department.  Every day is generally different at the company which means my role is varied and interesting.  I discuss complex and detailed applications with key customers but also help mentor members of the CSD team.  This helps my colleagues gain the knowledge and experience they need to offer customers the very best experience"

Natasha is developing a successful career at The West Group

"I had previously worked as a supervisor within the tourist industry and enjoyed dealing with people.  When the Internal Sales position came up at The West Group I applied and was really pleased to get a call saying I had got the job!

I worked in this role for a further two years but was looking for an opportunity to learn new skills in an area of interest.

Having developed a lot of product knowledge but liking communications I was pleased to be offered a promotion to Marketing Assistant.  I have been in the role for just over a year now and am really enjoying it.  Keen to develop my marketing skills, I am working towards an NVQ qualification with the full support of the company.  I have learned a great deal already in my new position from my new colleagues in the marketing team".
